Audit Manager
Lacharité McComber Kuczynski, a rapidly expanding accounting firm located in the heart of Montreal’s Old Port, is looking for a leading partner to fulfill the role of Audit Manager within the organization. Candidates should hold the CPA, CA title and have at least five years of experience within a department of auditing. Main Roles and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the associates:
- Plan audit program strategies for clients under his/her responsibility and supervise their implementation
- Manage the implementation of audit mandates within established deadlines and budgets. Analyze and review the audit dossiers under his/her responsibility and uphold quality control standards
- Present the deliverables to clients
- Ensure that the deliverables meet the expectations and needs of clients
- Analyze the ongoing work reports and make reports of work hours for invoicing
- Assist with the management of the schedule of mandates. Travel to customers to take part in some special mandates
- Assist with the preparation of service offers and presentations
- Could take art in the firm’s recruitment activities
- Manage the human resources allocated to his/her mandates, take part in the performance assessment of employees under his/her responsibility and work towards their professional development
- Train, counsel and coach less experienced personnel
- Maintain and develop his/her network of contacts. Meet the clients and identify their needs
- Answer the concerns of clients on a continual basis
- Identify current clients’ needs for additional service and identify potential clients
Requirements
- At least 5 years of auditing experience in an accounting firm
- CPA, CA credentials are mandatory
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of caseware / caseview is an asset
